Maray is such a great spot in Manchester, the food is always delicious, and the interior is really nice. The staff are lovely too, which makes the whole experience even better. The menu is mostly vegetarian, but there are a few meat options as well. Honestly, even if you’re not veggie, you won’t miss the meat, the dishes are so well thought out. And I have to mention the Brussels sprouts... they’re incredible! Highly recommend for a chilled catch-up with friends or a relaxed meal out. Definitely one of my go-to spots!

My favourite Mediterranean spot in the city! Perfect location, perfect food, perfect service — Maray truly delivers every time. I’ve been here three or four times before and always left with a smile on my face. Since I’m on their mailing list, I found out about the Spring Wine Dinner event and booked a spot the moment I saw it. In the photos, you can see the menu and a few of the dishes from the night. The first photo shows the burrata, the second one is the cod, the third is the crispy gribenes, and the last one features the smoked duck breast. I was actually the only person who came solo to this event, but it didn’t feel that way at all. The guests, the staff, and the sommelier who was there for the evening were all so warm and welcoming — it turned into such a wholesome and enjoyable night. As a Turk, I was especially delighted to see a Turkish wine on the pairing menu. It was a small but meaningful touch that made the evening even more special for me. Each course was thoughtful and delicious. One of my favourites was the Shepherd’s Pie. I completely forgot to take a photo because I was too busy devouring it — but it was far from your typical shepherd’s pie. It felt refined and modern, like a truly elevated take on the dish. For anyone curious: the 6-course meal was priced at 75, and yes, the wine pairings were included. I honestly think it was fantastic value for the experience. If any of the lovely staff or kind people I met that night happen to read this — thank you for making the evening so special. And of course, thank you Maray! I really hope I get the chance to attend again next year.

Amazing food, drinks and vibes. Special thanks to Megan and Tina, really made our night and were both very attentive and provided wonderful service. They gave fabulous recommendations if you’re unsure what to get and were super friendly! We would highly recommend the disco cauliflower and the bread and butter pudding. Thanks for making our evening amazing!

Came here after recommendations from a few friends and I'm glad I did. Service is quick and prompt. The food is super tasty, I especially enjoyed the whipped goats cheese, and the falafels (not dry at all). The most surprising dish was the disco cauliflower. I wasn't sure what to expect but it is the tastiest cauliflower I've ever eaten. The lunch menu is especially good value for money but I'd be happy to pay their usual prices!

Absolutely stunning experience from start to finish. The weather was lovely to we sat outside. We enjoyed the lunch deal and the food was incredible. The disco cauliflower is a 10/10, the cocktails were great and would highly recommend the chicken tenders, the sweet potato and the goat cheese dip! My friend used her e-voucher which is a perfect birthday gift idea! We were also celebrating my graduation and they gave us two glasses of bubbly on the house! Will 100% be back - thank you

This is some of the best food I've had in Manchester. Absolutely delicious and I'll definitely be going back. Reasonably priced too considering the location. Only thing that could be improved would be for the tables to be a bit wider to fit all the dishes and for more sound insulation on the ceiling as it's a bit too noisy.

One of the most delicious meals I had in a while! I bought the bread with the goat cheese (and an interesting pickled watermelon on top) to start, the cauliflower and fried bass. All of them were top tier! Particularly enjoyed their cauliflower though, it was sooo good! 10/10 would come again. I'm glad I made a reservation. Seems very crowded particularly on dinner time. If you're planning to come, call ahead.

Lovely experience from start to finish. All the small ideas they have put together to form the menu have really paid off. Every bite came together and we left feeling the perfect level of fulfillment. A good place to add to your list for veggies & carnivores.
